TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

1. ABOUT US

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made from GFN Parts (“we”, “us”, “our”), whether through our website or third-party marketplaces.

1.2 GFN Parts operates within the United Kingdom and is based in Powys.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Delivery Information, Refund & Returns Policy, and FAQs, which together form the entire agreement between the parties.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

2.1 By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2.2 The version of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time an order is placed shall apply.

3. PRODUCTS & INFORMATION

3.1 Reasonable care is taken to ensure that product descriptions, prices, and information are accurate at the time of publication.

3.2 Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Packaging, appearance, or presentation may vary without affecting the condition or authenticity of the item.

4. VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY & FITMENT

4.1 Where fitment information is assessed using a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), this is done in good faith and based on the vehicle as originally manufactured.

4.2 Vehicle manufacturers may introduce changes, revisions, or upgrades during production, and vehicles may be modified after manufacture.

4.3 Parts that do not fit due to:

  • manufacturer revisions or production changes

  • factory upgrades or optional specifications

  • aftermarket modifications

  • prior repairs or non-standard components

are not considered faulty.

4.4 Providing a VIN does not affect statutory rights.

5. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

5.1 All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

5.2 An order is not accepted until the goods have been dispatched.

5.3 Orders may be refused or cancelled where:

  • items are unavailable

  • payment cannot be authorised or is suspected to be fraudulent

  • a pricing or description error exists

  • customer validation checks fail

6. PRICING & PAYMENT

6.1 Prices are subject to change without notice.

6.2 Payment must be made in full at the time an order is placed.

7. DELIVERY

7.1 Orders placed before 12:00pm (midday) on a working day are normally processed for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends or public holidays, are processed on the next working day.

7.2 Dispatch times are operational targets only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery times.

7.3 All delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays.

7.4 All orders with a value over £8 are normally dispatched using a tracked delivery service. Customers receive a dispatch email once their order has been sent.

7.5 Where items are dispatched using DX due to size or weight, tracking information may be available to the sender only.

8. NEXT DAY DELIVERY

8.1 Next Day Delivery is an optional paid upgrade where available.

8.2 Where a Next Day Delivery service has been provided, the delivery charge is non-refundable, except where required by law.

8.3 Where an order has been verified using a VIN prior to dispatch, and the item is subsequently confirmed to be incorrect due to our error, the Next Day Delivery charge may be refunded in addition to the cost of the goods.

8.4 This does not affect statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods.

9. PACKAGING OF ITEMS

9.1 Some items are purchased in manufacturer packs or bags containing multiple units and are sold individually.

9.2 Where items are supplied as single units from such multi-pack packaging, they may be dispatched in non-branded or alternative protective packaging rather than original manufacturer outer packaging.

9.3 This does not affect the authenticity, condition, or functionality of the item.

9.4 For return purposes, “original packaging” refers to the packaging in which the item was supplied by us.

10. RETURNS

10.1 A 30-day return period applies from the date goods are received.

10.2 Returned items must be:

  • unused

  • not installed, test-fitted, programmed, or modified

  • returned in the same condition as supplied

  • sealed where applicable

10.3 Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a deduction for loss in value.

10.4 Unless goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

11. REFUNDS

11.1 Returned items are inspected upon receipt.

11.2 Where a return is approved, refunds are issued within 24 hours or by the next business day, whichever is later.

11.3 Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

11.4 The time taken for funds to appear in the customer’s account is determined by the payment provider or bank and may take additional working days.

12. OBSOLETE & DISCONTINUED STOCK

12.1 Some items may be classed as obsolete, discontinued, or end-of-line stock.

12.2 Manufacturer warranties typically apply for a limited period from manufacture or first sale. As obsolete items are often sourced after this period, no manufacturer warranty is provided.

12.3 A 30-day return policy applies to obsolete or discontinued items provided they are unused and returned in original condition.

12.4 The age, description, and condition of obsolete stock are taken into account when assessing satisfactory quality.

13. THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACE PURCHASES

13.1 Where goods are purchased through third-party marketplaces, including eBay, the relevant platform’s policies apply in addition to these Terms.

13.2 In the event of any conflict, the third-party platform’s policies take precedence.

14. LIABILITY

14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory rights.

14.2 Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or opportunity.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

15.1 We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

16. GOVERNING LAW

16.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
